Clinical Psychologist, Centre for Assessment Psychotherapy and Research
Dr. Michael Njeru is a Clinical Psychologist and has extensive experience working at Centre for Assessment, Psychotherapy and Research and also in Nairobi West Hospital as a consultant Clinical Psychologist. His research interest is in mental health and treatment of substance and behavioral addictions. Dr. Njeru completed his doctoral studies on Pornography Addiction among the youth. He has been involved in mentoring students in Kenyan Universities and high schools for over 18 years. He is a volunteer therapist and clinical supervisor for psychology interns at Mukuru Promotional Centre, a community organization helping over 5000 youths in informal settlements have access to mental health services and psychosocial support. He is the program manager for Mental Health at Center for Public Health and Development Nairobi.
